This challenge is designed for anyone and everyone! With the challenge of covering as few as 14 miles a week and with an available relay option for all teams, anyone in your family can participate. You can also encourage family members to join you to help you achieve your goal. You can run/bike/walk/swim from anywhere to participate.
Your inherent reward is that you are improving yourself while supporting those in need of food. All challenges (except the Family category) will also receive a limited edition Canyon to The Coast Challenge T-Shirt - unisex OR female-specific. In addition, all will receive a gorgeous Custom Medal to proudly display your accomplishment. And each challenger will receive a virtual challenge bib that can be downloaded from the race page, participation in an active leaderboard, live map tracking along our course and a digital finisher's certificate with all your stats! We will also be promoting random prizes throughout the challenge to help make it more fun - and keep you more connected with other participants!
We will start processing your race packet once registration for your wave closes (one month after the wave starts). It usually takes between 8-10 weeks from that date to receive your packet.
***We have been experiencing some delays in getting our supplies. Please have patience at this time, as you may receive your items beyond the 8-10 weeks***
You can complete it any way you wish. You can walk, roll, run, spin - whatever makes you happy! And you can cover your miles any day, and in any way, that best works for you.
You can start recording miles anytime after the 15th of your Wave registration and you will have six months to complete your challenge.
The waves are as follows, you can input results starting the first day through the last day as shown.

100% of all donations go directly to Friends of Cathryn Foundation - and straight to fund pediatric cancer research.
The reality is, without philanthropic donations from individuals and organizations like FRoC, research for children’s cancer would be abysmally funded. The facts are that there are more breast cancer, melanoma, prostate cancer and other “adult” cancer drugs funded because there are more of these cancers than there are cancers common to children. A drug company reaches a larger patient population (and makes more money) when they develop a drug for “adult” cancers. Thankfully, the rates of survival for these cancers have moved in the right direction but it has left a gap in the funding for children’s cancers. That leaves us, those advocating for children’s cancers, to fight for dollars to fund the most impactful therapies for kids.
The other challenge is to fund the research, not the organization giving to the research. We have no overhead thus, when you donate to FRoC, 100% of your donation goes straight to our mission.
Thank you! Your message was posted to Facebook.
